We will also teach you RFID 101, covering the basics of this technology. Topics such as EPC standards, RFID frequencies, active tags VS passive tags and more will be discussed so you will have a better understanding of RFID and the benefits not only of compliancy, but within your own organization. We will also discuss in depth the requirements of the DOD mandate itself including: • Read range requirements • Items to tag • Tag encoding schemes • (ASN)–Advanced Shipping Notice Upon completion of our workshop you will have a working knowledge of RFID and what it will take and cost to become compliant with the DOD mandate.
